I’ve come down with a cold for the first time in about a year.
Honestly? I’m glad it happened now rather than right before seeing my kids. Better to crash now and be at 100% for the main event.
In Japan, the standard move is to head straight to the clinic.
But when my body’s aching and I can barely move, I have my own way of tuning the engine:
Heavy hydration, two bottles of high-potency energy drinks, and eating as much as I can shove down.

They say “Sickness starts in the mind.” It’s all mental. If you don’t let it in, it can’t stay.
My goal is to clear this out in three days.
I’ve got no time to stay in the slow lane.
