400 Miles of Resilience: The Midnight Pit Stop

Parenting & Fatherhood

The night bus is cramped and cold.

In Japan, we stop every two hours so the driver can rest.

Most people hate being woken up.

But for me, it’s a “Pit Stop.”

I step out into the midnight air, stretch my aching body, and grab a black coffee.

Staring at the dark highway, I find my focus.

I’m not just traveling; I’m recalibrating.

As the sun starts to rise, the exhaustion disappears.

Why? Because every mile brings me closer to my kids.

That excitement is my NOS.

I used to call this “hardship.”

I was wrong. This is just the fuel for the life I’m building.

Catch you at the finish line.
