Another shift at the Italian restaurant today. I deal with all kinds of customers, always keeping my poker face tight. It’s part of the job.
But inside? I’m thinking. I see people leaving plates full of food, or letting their dishes get cold while they talk for hours. As someone who knows food, I just want to say, “It’s best when it’s hot!”
On the bright side, I got some extra food today along with my staff meal. Perfect fuel for my muscles. It turned out to be a great day.
